What is Dynamify?
Dynamify is a dynamics expander, but that description doesn't do it justice. With an envelope follower design at the core, tracking the incoming signal happens with extreme precision. This allows Dynamify to shape the dynamics of a sound with incredible ease. Unlike other expanders the user interface has been completely re-thought and made very easy to use.

Turn the big knob
Because of the finely tuned and automatically changing ratio's behind the scenes, turning the main knob gets you 80% of the result. The rest is finetuning to get it absolutely perfect.
02Sidechain section
Sidechain: internal/external
The internal side-chain allows you to shape what frequencies the plug-in responds to, resulting in a much more musical result. The external side-chain opens up a world of possibilities for adding dynamics to a sound based on the dynamics of a different sound. Very cool!
03Envelope filter section
Envelope filter
The envelope filter takes Dynamify to another level. When activated, the filter will open up triggered by the level of the incoming signal, and move in a musical way with the sound. Adjustable with three easy to use knobs, it's an absolute breeze to get to results beyond expectations.

Features
- "One-Knob" WorkflowBecause of the finely tuned and automatically changing ratio's behind the scenes, turning the main knob gets you 80% of the result. The rest is finetuning to get to a 100%.
- Ultra-Fast TrackingFrom the start of designing this plug-in, we opted for an envelope-follower design that tracks the level of the incoming signal with extreme precision. This gives you total control over the dynamics of any sound.
- Restore Lost DynamicsWhen sounds are processed to have a certain attitude like with distortion, the dynamics are often sacrificed. Dynamify is really good at restoring lost dynamics, especially after saturation.
- Forgiving noise gateBecause of the lack of a fixed threshold, Dynamify is ideal for "soft" gating sources. When gating close mic's on drums, it's often not needed to completely remove cymbal bleed, but rather to decrease it to a manageable and musical level. In conjuction with the lookahead feature, Dynamify has no problems in achieving this.
- Creative SidechainingThis is where Dynamify gets a whole lot more interesting. The internal or external sidechain make it possible to have the "dynamifying" happen triggered by an altered or completely different source. This opens up a world of possibilities, either in inventive problem solving or in creative sound design. The list button allows you to listen to the sidechain signal.
- Dynamic Envelope FilterThe envelope filter takes Dynamify to another level. When activated, the filter will open up triggered by the level of the incoming signal, and move in a musical way with the sound. Adjustable with three easy to use knobs, it's an absolute breeze to get to results beyond expectations.
- LookaheadLookahead allows the plug-in to listen to the incoming signal a bit earlier (0-10ms) than when it's processing it. In a sense, it can "look in the future" and anticipate on transients before they happen. This is very useful, for instance, when using the internal sidechain filters where the high frequency attack of a sound is not registered by the detector very much.
- Ouput limiterWhen adding dynamics, it's possible that the signal might peak. The output limiter makes the process of dialing in a sound more forgiving.
- Great factory presetsDynamify can do many things. The factory presets give you very good starting points for all of the things it's good at. With the built in preset browser it's easy to keep track of factory and user-made presets.
- Unlimited undo & redoNot happy with where you went when dialing in a sound? Like with any modern audio plug-in, undo and redo is a given.
